Hey guys, My last air gun jammed so I decided to make a new one. I tried ordering a stock from amazon but it got stuck in customs for some reason, so I figured why not make one to custom fit my hands too.. I made a stock which took me about 8 hours of filing, shaping etc.. considering I don't own an...
So you lubricated the hot glue piston with WD40? I had bad experiences with it, over time the piston became sticky and soft, to a point that I had to remove it with a dowel and a hammer. It's a mixture of oils inside right now, lol. Do you have any suggestions? For the time being, it works fine- I ...
I have 3 different pistons, an epoxy one which slides really smoothly but also isn't snug enough to stay in place, 2 hot glue ones (one I showed) which has medium place to move and another one which barely has any space to move back and forth. The tube itself is extremely smooth and lubed. Thank you...
Hi, Apparently I have a problem with my QEV. The piston I tried making out of epoxy didn't work out too well for some reason, so I stuck to my good old pal, the hot glue. I had a coax QEV on one of my airguns before, but because I haven't used it for a long time it got messed up so I decided to make...
It's a 3~9X50 Airsoft rifle scope, I bought it online, if I am allowed to post a link to it reply to this post and I'll post a link (It's VERY cheap for what you get).
If not, send me a PM.. Do it quickly though cause I'm feeling kind of sick and I might go to sleep doon..
The piston is fully service-able, I can take out the barrel/chamber part apart to allow access to the piston easily, don't worry - I have thought about it :) It just screws right off very easily. Sorry if I have any mistakes or w/e, I just came back from a club and I'm a little drunk lol.. Good nigh...
What do you mean by servicing the piston? Btw, the Epoxy at the front is going to be filed down and won't be noticed (will do that before the paint) and at the back - after it's painted it won't be noticed at all, it's smooth. At the moment it work's perfectly fine and it's really strong actually. T...
Hi guys, After some help I got on this forum I finally managed to finish my gun but there is only 1 thing left which I need your help with - the paintjob :) I thought about painting it: 1. All black 2. Stock cherry wood, barrel etc black 3. Stock cherry wood, barrel etc silver (metallic) 4. Camo (le...
I forgot to summerize my previous post, it work's now. The problem was like we saw - it wasn't letting air out fast enough so I just unscrewed the stem part a tiny bit to allow more air out and it worked like a charm. Work's perfectly fine now :) I'm going to work on the stock from now, got to find ...
Update:: After some tests that Gun Freak explained to me yesterday, I tried putting a ball valve instead of the blow gun and it worked again so the problem was that not enough air was going out the pilot valve. Now that I woke up I just realized maybe I need to release the stem a little bit because ...
