Not suggesting you do it mate, just a brain fart. And at the least you'll need a MIG for decent airtight welds Don't have to have a mig. Just have to know what your doing so you don't get pinholes. If its not more then 1/8 thick. I wouldn't attempt to use stick. Nothing like blowing holes through i...

It be cheaper to just find someone to weld it for u. And it would be much stronger if you don't have the proper skills

Being in welding school I would suggest mig with a spool gun and 100% argon or tig weld with some 4043(I think) rods. Aluminum stick rods cost a ton and aren't easy to use, especially if ur not good with stick welding

One simple screw will do that without filling the chamber with rubbish :)

Baffles? In a combustion chamber? Doesn't make sense to me...

If you want turbulence to encourage complete combustion, use a fan.

Yes, several. Visit an auto parts store. They come in several styles including valve caps with a core tool built in. The valve caps won't reach the valve in propane tanks.
I got tweezers to work fine

Of course Brian the Brian. It looks amazing. I wish I had my mig or tight setup so I could do welding on mine. Flat black will look good with it.

Whatever you design, it must be light or you can kill someone.

Be safe, keep it simple. Stick to nerfs or my favorite, tennis balls.

Airsoft Mortar

So I've finally got my 2 inch mortar firing, now its just time to figure out the most cheap, cost effective shell. I've done some searching on the forums, came up empty. I was originally going to launch a cup of bb's but now that i think of it, it seems to not have enough effect as say a nerf footba...

I was thinking more of a powder bag on the tip that would pop on impact. Nice "explosion" effect

I was going to do something of the sort, but i feel that it would be hard to make a cheap, refillable shell that's also safe. I feel if you put a shrader in the shell and a cap on that if the cap fell off it might pose a big risk. although it would make a very successful rapid fire system if you had...

Brian that looks very nice. I've made no progress whatsoever. All that's left is the $12 sprocket but I'm broke after using my last few $ on the cannon. After I cleanup. A little in my garage I can get back of task
