Also, make sure that there is no leakage around the area that you installed the blow gun. On my gun there was leakage there, and I had the same problem as you.

Well if you put your hand over the barrel and fire it, it would hurt, right?

So you don't actually have to but something in the barrel to shoot. The air is enough to kill you! :D

Blow Back! I haven't actually tried this... But I think it would work.
An AK47, for instance, uses this method of reloading. I believe it is called gas blow back. I only drew the blow back part of the gun. Everything behind the bolt is for you to decide.

Yes, I know but you can attach slide valve directly to the QEV. The blowgun needs lots of reducers, as it is 1/4'' and the QEV is 3/4''. I have built a PVC manifold that has a Schrader valve on it.

More valve detail? Is it for Nerf wars? How long does co2 cartridge last? I'm new to this system.

Good point, I'll consider building a new manifold, but don't you think a slide valve would give me the best opportunity for low pilot volume? Or a 2/3 DCV because I planning on building one soon.

Pop-off valve build

I started building a large 1'' pop off valve a couple days ago. I'll probably use it to make a full auto(QEV + pop-off) gun. The input is 1/2'' PVC. The piston is washers on a bolt with some rubber on the sealing face. I'm currently using a compression spring behind the piston. I have not glued this...

Why? It's not semi-auto and it takes three pumps on the bike pump to get to 80 PSI. But I agree that it is wasteful.
