i saw a video of some 3/4" flowguard CPVC bursting with like some crazy amount of pressurized water. I think the pipe was rated for a few hundred psi but it actually burst in like the thousands (I wanna say 1400 or 1700, maybe 14,000). It was actually boring, it split lengthwise and was more like a ...

I wouldnt use it for anything period. Nothing at all. Use the Sch-40. It is better than having it blow up in your face. And Nichoai you do know that the 220PSI is the working pressure and not the bursting pressure right? omg are u serious? i never knew that....lol..... [sarcasim] i was simply stati...

Re: Cellular core
I was wandering if anyone knows how much pressure 4" pvc can hold. Solid sch 40 is 220 psi water at 70 something deg. that is most common at hardware stores. shouldnt use more than 100 psi air in PVC for safety. the question is, how high is too high of a pressure when you drop it? Is it going to si...

so use two pipe saddles.... not that complicated http://spudshot.com//images/fanbox.JPG Im thinking this is sort of like the handle you want, except this is half of the handle. I suppose you want the whole thing to make a handle then simply use two saddles and connect via pipe and 2 90 deg elbows. N...

why dont you just get a saddle tee, glue it into place and then use hose clamps if needed.

dude just drill/tap through two layers of pipe on the fitting overlap. clear or not its safer than drilling into a POS cleanout cap any day. Dont be so worried about blowing it up because its clear and a tad different than type I or II PVC. Its still pressure rated and you will never generate enough...

well, Clear pvc has a lower pressure rating (lower tensile strength I think) and is not UV stabilized typically. It has been done before many times and is accepted to be "safe" if you follow the correct steps according to drilling and tapping. To be on the safe side simply put screws, 12v leads for ...
