I hadn't even considered the flow rate of the gas. It's pretty obvious looking back on the question now that regulator flow rate won't be nearly as fast as the QEV's flow rate upon triggering. Thanks for the help and input!

What would the benefits of using a secondary chamber be? Are there any? Is the only constraint having parts that can handle those pressures?
