I'm wondering how many decibels (approx.) a burst disc makes. Also if it will vary with the sizes of the disc. (I'm thinking of making a burst disk gun but don't want to screw up relations with the neighbors) PS If this has already been addressed I haven't been able to find it by searching here and ...

He uses an electronically actuated sprinkler valve, and I think that those brass fittings are just a schrader and a safety pop off valve.

I think it shouldn't be a random pick of people, maybe have a riddle/game/competition thing going on?
Anyway I put a lot of work into my launchers (usually) so they carry a sentimental attachment and unless it's broken I don't see why I would give it away.

clear primer

i''ve been searching the forums and have come across people talking about clear primer and cement. i was just wondering where people got these( i haven't seen any at my local hardware stores) also nicholia mentioned industrial grade primer and cement i'm just wondering what the difference is

the link didn't work on my computer, but even if it has a guide rod either take it out bend it and tape slash glue it underneath the phragm or just drill your hole to the side of the casing its discussed(sp) here on the third or fourth page http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=305&postday...

they are a thin sheet of material put inbetween the barrel and the chamber, used as a noisemaker, in a hybrid, and as a real simple pnuematic. common materials are tinfoil, tape, and plastic from soda bottles just realized they are explained in the wiki here: http://www.spudfiles.com/spud_wiki/index...

i forget where i saw this but someone had the idea to just pust a sprinkler valve in the chamber of a pnuematic(sp), i was wondering if it would work, or would the outside pressures crush the body of the sprinkler valve? if so how about a ballvalve?

i don't know pimpman he says he uses "the modified original AT-4 firing pin" but i don't know about the inner workings of a AT-4 so i couldn't say exactly what happens
