I use propane in one of my combustions coupled with a stungun/sparkstrip for ignition and a fan to mix the air with the gas. All I can say is it gives one solid kick and sends the projectile far out of sight. I have used butane in other applications and it is passable but can't match propane in my e...

Let me see if I get this right. You are going to drill a 1/2" hole in the side of your combustion chamber wall, jam in a long nose BBQ lighter, inject your fuel, hold on to your spudgun, and then pull the trigger on the lighter that has nothing to hold it in place and hope that one hand or the other...

I agree with spudstuff-the next best thing to propane that I have found is Oust air freshener. It's a little pricey but it gives one heck of a bang for the buck. Personally I would stay away from gasoline for any application save an internal combustion engine-it's way too dangerous to mess with. I k...

Any media venue is to blame whether it be the newspaper, the tube, or the silver screen (including video games). Any media that demeans and lessens the value of a human life is to blame. Humanity is attracted to that thing which is the most violent-witness the wars in the middle east or elsewhere. L...

Violence is the result of the numbing of our sensibilitys . We are numbed by the violence we observe in any sort of media simply because we are led to believe that this depiction is not real but a fantasy in which the portrayors go on to live normal lives and the violence is merely a normal part of ...

Duuuuh! It doesn't matter! PSI is PSI. doesn't matter if it is water or golf balls, it is all the same! One may take a little more or less than the other but if you are monitoring the pressure it makes no difference. The point is to use a guage to keep track. Why argue a useless point? The man is ri...

Hey Spudmania! The guys are right, the tacks should be much closer-in fact shoulder to shoulder or about 1/8" on the tips of the tacks. Next I would use any of the great air fresheners such as Oust or even a cheapy such as Glade. Experiment with the amount you need. Sometimes I have found more is be...

I agree with Dom; the only time I ever had the same it turned out to be a leak in my connections from tank to gun. I checked it out back at home and found my connection had loosened and the propane, at pressure was going into the thin air. New connection type and a well tightened clamp and no more p...

I have modded two Rainmasters; one works just fine (quiet) the other gives me the "honk". Each one was done in an identical manner but put on two different guns. I have tried several different remedies but to no avail. I am beginning to believe it is either in the design of the gun (could THAT be?) ...

Wellllll-I still would opt for PVC due to the fact it is pressure rated to a higher degree than ABS and I have never had a problem with PVC. I have been a "spudder" for more than twenty years and have seen more disasters with ABS than with PVC. I have never seen better success rates than with PVC. I...
