You could get a small engine from a weed wacker or a 2hp one and mount a sprocket or pulley on the compressor and then one on the engine with a chain/belt. Might work.

The adapter threads on, there is a valve in there like a paint ball tank, it wont open unless you screw on the tank to the valve. You can get them anyweres, HD, Lowes, Ace Hardware, plumbing places etc

One thing: what's the compressed air input, (male Q.D. on a 1/4" nipple), for on the side of the launcher? Do you use it to displace combustion products with fresh air? Thanks!
