A bad rear seal on the piston is pretty hard to describe... If your barrel isn't leaking and the gun fills with air fast, your problem is your rear of your piston not making a good seal with the tee... The rubber on the back of the piston should be straight and stiff, so that it contacts the sides o...

Ah ha :) Tin snips aren't good for cutting sheet metal and keeping it flat :P Do you have a jig saw, a band saw, or a scroll saw to cut the sheet metal on so it stays flat? If you can find a washer that is smaller than 4" and bigger than 3", and one that is smaller than 3", but bigger than 2", you c...

What kind of foam is that? :P The sealing face loops a little floppy, possibly try using a thicker metal so it doesn't bend and then bolt on a 2.5" washer so the sealing face stays straight... I've never used an end cap for a piston before, so I'm probably a very good person to take advice from... I...

That sucks majorly... Normally when my bushing gets stuck, I put the bushing in a vise grip and put\hammer the pipe as hard as I can... Whatever you do, don't through away the fitting... It's pretty screwed for you, but I can possibly salvage it on an oscillating sander... Or if you have one at your...

Ah that's cool... A door stop to a 1/8" ball valve?

I remember that cabbage patch kid or whatever in the gun picture :D

If it's not "pulling back"... Your piston isn't moving backwards, it is because of a bad pilot or a bad sealing piston... It's not rocket scientist... When a vacuum doesn't pull an object, it's not a strong enough vacuum... I have no idea why you spent $40 on a sprinkler valve, when you can buy one ...

Ya, that's a "problem" about a Schrader as a pilot valve... You can either tap a expensive (and stupid idea) one-way valve into the rear piston, make a one way valve yourself (hard with a 2 piece non-coaxial piston) or have 2 schraders... One for the fill valve and one for the pilot... The easiest t...

Lol ant... THE SCHRADER... This is a fairly common pneumatic design. It's basically a coaxial barrel sealing valve... Well not quite common, but many people have posted concepts of it. It's fairly easy to make with proper tools for forming\molding a piston. I believe a few of JSR's designs use a sim...

Ahh the little QEV and pressure valve are so cute :P lol

Those are pretty cool... I once saw a 1/8" QEV, which was just funny...

The gun looks awesome! I love the clear barrel and stock.

Are you sure? I played with a guy using an Ion electropnuematic with unregulated CO2 no problem. Unless there was an internal regulator (or less likely, I did not notice an external one), the QEV was receiving 800 psi. Also, how does a light paintball gun and thin remote lines resist 800-4000 psi w...

Do you know the difference between an internal and external regulator? The front "grip" of an Ion gun is a regulator that can step down about 1600 psi to 0... It fairly accurately regulates to the 120-180 psi range, which is standard pressure for a Stock or QEV gun. What do you mean by a light paint...
