A pressure rated (Schedule 40\80\120) pipe with pressure rated fitting is much better than a cola bottle, but it will cost you some more... A Cola bottle is sufficient, and if it fails, it will probably just tear in half without putting you in much danger... Keep in mind that it can explode though.....

I'm not sure how Europeans rate their PVC...

Deterrent can you please take a picture of the pipe your chamber is make out of? The writing on the pipe would help us greatly to determine if it is safe or not...

I actually found Sprinkler.com to be $3.05 more than McMaster without the pipe... I only calculated one 90 degree elbow... I don't know if your using 2 or what... I imagined only one for the chamber to valve connection... With a Tee valve you only need one 90... I've actually found Plumbingsupply.co...

McMaster is surprisingly hard for my mother to find, but I can find it easily every time  It's at the intersection of 43 and Lena Drive... Route 306 merges witr 43 by the way... 306 goes all the way to the "Lake"... Between Willoughby and Mentor 480 has an exit to Route 43 ("Aurora Road") if yo...

I doubt it also, but I should be getting over 800 fps... Using paintballs, friction is not much of a factor. CPVC seems to be easily lubricated, and paintballs have a small amount of oil on them already. I was shooting over 600 fps with my last setup, and it's valve was very inefficient... My new va...

A inside ammo for airsoft barrels is actually cotton swabs... Wood sticks are much better for damage... They don't sound like they'd do much damage, but even my mini combustion was putting cotton-shaft cotton-covered cotton swabs (lots of cotton :o ) through aluminum pop cans at 20 feet or so... I w...

Really there's no problem with posting on a cannon... You can comment on a gun no matter how old it is. Just next time, try to see if the members active...

There's definitely proof of spud guns shooting over the speed barrier! It's not like we're lying to you or something... Nearly every (decent) hybrid could break the speed barrier with the right ammo... Even pneumatic spud guns have broken the sound barrier before If I remember correctly. I'm almost ...

If your still ordering from McMaster, you should get your parts same day...

I'm not that much close than you, and I receive parts same day even when I order later...

Hope your piston works well... Mine doesn't seal for crap... I need a softer rubber or some silicon caulking...

I can't wait to see your 4" piston gun!

I'm just about finished with my 5/4" piston, with 2" chamber, and 1.5" barrel porting... I need to secure the sealing face on my piston and finish my QEV...

I know how powerful even 1" BST's are, so a 3" ported one will be insane!

I love the coaxial tee look a lot!

This cannon looks GREAT, and I'm sure it shoots well also.

Is 9/32" an airsoft barrel? I've been using a 5/16" brakeline  better buy a new one :P

Do you plan on giving this a paint job?

Ya... I don't like the 21°F "feels like 11°F" temperatures either... But it beats the 5°F "feels like -10°F" we had last weekend :P I'm going to build a advanced combustion sometime soon, but I don't want to deplete all my money  . I'm planning on a 3" to 1.5" golfball combustion... Possibly a...

I bought everything last night. Most of it is assembled minus the tee->female , the barrel porting, and the homemade qev's (small BST's) 1" male... My pipe cutter only goes to 3/4" (ya, I know, sad)... So I have to borrow my neighbors, and I didn't feel like going over at 9:00 PM... By the way, my n...

If the piston seals tightly, how will the air equalize into the chamber? I'm making my own pilot valve, because I don't feel like buying a sprinkler valve to mod it... QEVs\BSTs are much better pilot valves anyway... For a lot cheaper... As of now I'm buying a 2" tee (s x s x t), 2" male, 2" female,...
