im building an ignitor for my tater cannon and im having some issues. i followed the schematic and everything so i think my problem is with the transformer. i have some pictures of my setup. when ever i try to use the ignitor the batery gets pretty warm which i guess is a sign that something is wire...

im working on building an "igniter." its actualy a ghetto stun gun but my mom doesnt know that. there are plans all over the internet

well my mom wont let me get a stun gun so ill just get one at my dads house and take off the housing and say we built an ignightor with a capacitor and a battery ... but for now ive got a sweet handle with a bbq sparker on it. kinda looks like that pg255 locust or whatever... only more gheto

ok well ive decided to replace my lighter after the gas tube melted and it doesnt light anymore. im thinkin about usin a stun gun. anyone know hos to set that up and what a good brand is?

ok well i just finished building my first potato gun. instead of a lantern sparker which seems to be used the most i drilled a hole in the plug on the back of the gun and epoxied one of those long handled lighters. when i went to visit a friend in washington state i shot one with a lighter like this...
