OK, I like that, The peice of delrin would have to be larger, I tore apart a spider paint ball marker, and was looking at it, even though it has the two slides, one above the other, it still looks simpler than a tippmann gun. choices, choices, choices, MMMMMM? :?: :?: :?:

Well That is still cool Pryrogeek, if all of our inventions failed we would give up, but works like crap, means still kinda worked! RIGHT!!, I have to get the delrin still. Just a note, tomorrow I am getting 2 pieces of bronze to turn for a pair of cannons. I love building cannons, 75 calibur baby! ...

Ok I looked at the semi auto, and I will go over the plans again, I am going to make a semi auto if it kills me, either litterally, or I go broke! LOL I plam on using a 2in barrel, I am kinda hooked on this 200 caliber beast, and the final version will be CO2 fed. Well I guess is is back to the draw...

SIMPLE DELRIN BOLT

Ok here is my idea for a simple delrin bolt for a semi auto *****(you fill in the blank) cannon. I was looking at all these paintball bolts that are made out of delrin, so I looked it up on ebay, and some commercail sites, for availibility, and tooling. It is easy to turn on a lathe, and yet very st...

today I took a small waterballoon, slid it into an old toilet paper tube, duct taped the back end, and I used a piece of foam rubber(pipe insulation) for a "wad" the waterballoon was protruding from the tube, and I gassed up to around 100psi, (2in air cannon, with a 36in barrel, and a 36in chamber),...

Ok here is a little sketch I did, I think that putting the lock behing the chamber will work just fine, with rigid aluminum pipe that is. Tapering a fit between the barrel and the bolt should help get a nice seal, and I figure to cut out a groove with the lathe for a couple orings as well. As for th...

Thank you, I have gotten as far as putting some of it to paper, I am trying to get together the materials now, I work on alot of construction site, so I like to use "srap" when I can find it, scrap for the trades is anything left over that is under 5ft long, so it may take a couple of weeks to get a...

This looks like a great option for a bolt action gun/cannon. With an oring at the front of the bolt I think you would cut out any leaks, or at least most of them. I think I might give this a try in a 2in rigid aluminum pipe. Machine out 1/2 a coupler, then thead the barrel on one end without removin...
