Safety Valve
I am building my second launcher. It is another pneumatic. The chamber consists of a end cap and a sleeve that actually but up to one another, so the entire chamber is double walled. What kind of pressure would be safe to go up to? Normally I would install a 125psi safety valve. But was thinking may...

Filling Solenoid Hole
I am filling the hole that once housed the solenoid on my sprinkler valve. Do I need to just fill the top portion of the hole to seal it off or do I need to pack the epoxy all the way down into the bottom of the solenoid hole to plug the tooth pick sized holes at the bottom?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Don't go into court assuming all will be fine. The ATF doesn't define these as destructive devices, but that doesn't mean that your local government or even state doesn't define them as destructive devices. LAWYER UP. Seek legal advice in your area. Look up the penal code for which you were charged....

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will pull it appart tonight. Does caution need to be taken when filling the orafice that the solenoid once occupied? I filled it with JB Weld. Was I not supposed to pack it deep into the orafice? Would that affect the equalization of the pressure to the opposite si...

Valve Leaking
Built my first cannon this past weekend. It works great other than the fact that the Sprinkler Valve leaks. When I put air into it from 0-20psi it leaks pretty fast but when I take it up to around 60psi it seems as if it leaks slower. Did I screw up when I added JB weld to the oriface that housed th...

Sprinkler Valve Question
I am building my first cannon and am building a pneumatic. I am using a 1" sprinkler valve. I am going to modify it by drilling it and adding an air tool. I would assume I need to plug the hole that originally had the solenoid in it. Is this correct and if so, what should I plug it with?

Exterior-fitting PVC darts
I have seen many different types of ammo including pvc rockets. Has anyone tried making a pvc rocket that would fit snuggly to the oustside of the barrel. In other words find a pvc pipe size that just fits in side another and use that as the barrel and the other as the rocket, so that the rocket rid...
