I always thought that using a plastic trigger mech box was just cheap. There are so many variations of these rifles that are pure garbage.

I shoot a vsr, I like it.

That rotating design will destroy paintballs so quickly. I have a terrible feeling that when it was spinning it wouldn't always just pick up one paintball also.

That'd be good for solid ammunition, but paintballs would chop.

Gotta love curly maple! Looks nice. Unfortunately, that damned stuff tends to tear out a lot in a planer. Could got extra shnazzy and done a laminate design, putting a thin laminate of mahogany, or bloodwood down the middle. Good looking stock though! Mr. Sandman, you can either go on Ebay or buy lo...

Ragnarok, I don't think you were a member, but back when Spudtech had a forum, I think that's where most of the big advances were made. I just started looking through this forum from pure boredom lately. On spudtech, I remember DR and the Halls. I don't know if they are still around, but they always...

That's odd that the BB is still in tact. Most bbs I've used shatter quite easily. The rifle I use to skirmish, will break bbs when they hit a soft sticky rubber target. I use .3 gram bbs though, so it may have something to do with it.

I don't fully understand how it works either, can you explain a little more? The easiest way I see to do it, can be done similarly to how I understand your current drawing. All the spring would have to do, is account for the other 100 psi that you aren't letting in. Pressure=force/ area Simply sum t...

Firearms can reach Mach because they use a super heated gas. Afraid not. I'm going to be pedantic here and say that there's a specific meaning to the word superheated, which isn't met. Take a chill, sit down, take off your badge and gun, and relax kid. Super and heat, are two separate words. Using ...

I've figured that unless the projectile is very light, and the acceleration is huge, Mach is really out of reach. When using a heated air, which would be less dense, or helium or hydrogen, you can achieve Mach a lot easier. A few things you may want to consider is the amount of compression that the ...

One thing you'd lack, which is very important would be a hop up. Since the start of the barrel is inside the air chamber, there would be no way to use a hopup. You'd lose an incredible amount of range, and to make it up in power would be dangerous. You could try one near the end of the barrel, but y...
