You have no idea how dispappointed I was when I realized there were no carrots in this thread. I thought we were making little coaxial pneumatics ot of them... but I also kind of like the "ghetto"-metal feeling of home made cannons/contraptions. Yes I like that too. It makes me feel special, like I ...

I always appreciate a ghetto cannon that just makes a band and a flame. Have you ever thought of putting in way too much fuel so you simply end up with a huge flame? I have a ghetto coke bottle combustion floating around here, which was a highly complicated system of a grill sparker and a coke bottle.

So then you could put a gun rack on it for spud guns and drive out to West Texas and join the brotherhood of rednecks? Two steps ahead of you my friend.. http://www.evivehicles.com/Ladder%20and%20Pipe%20Rack%20Truck.jpg Three things: 1-Your right i dont want to drive for 3 hours in a truck w...

Grill sparkers aren't known for being able to clear many large gaps. You would be better off with one 1/4'' gap or two 1/8'' gaps, which would be much more reliable. There is minor debat if multiple sparks close together help at all, but you don't really need to worry about that. Oh and be careful d...

Now is a good time to bring up my little bike pump missle. It was pretty much created through a series of trials and errors. First, I used a metal handsaw to cut the bike pump chamber off of a broken bike pump. Then I beat one end against the ground so it could hold stuff. I filled it a little less ...

My my, those primer stains on that piston gun.

I shouldn't be joking around, I really do feel sorry for you. Just wondering, what kind of magnet school was it? Since you're a spudgunner, probably some kind of engineering?

Here are some good plans for starter spud guns. My first one was the spud buster. You don't have to use a lantern sparker, grill ignitors work much better. I might try making a pneumatic gun soon. The only reason I shied away from it is because most of the how-to's on building starter-model guns we...

Wait, I'm not from AU, but shouldn't there be fewer restrictions on air rifles than gunpowder ones? Around here people my age can own air rifles, but you have to be 18 to buy shotguns and rifles, and 21 for pistols. :?:

You just don't wanna be riding for three hours in a bright yellow truck without a/c. Well I don't know anyone who would... Fool. I drive it every day without A/C. It's getting painted camo soon too, so no more yellow. So then you could put a gun rack on it for spud guns and drive out to West ...

Something is afoot, Watson.

How do you crack an aluminum bat? There probably wouldn't be much of his head left if he had managed to do that.

For the remote ignition, some people like to rig up a servo that presses the ignition button. I remember seeing that on a hybrid somewhere...

I like it. You should keep it on a table or something. It would make a good conversation starter, officer war starter and whatnot.

Update on my new one, I still have to wait a couple more hours for the glue to cure (finally got my glue yesterday) and also the fittings pressed together better than I thought when hey were glued, so my measurements were off and now the barrel support tee doesn't fit, but I should be able to fix th...

Yes, it will work, but make sure to have a nice squishy bumper behind it, otherwise it will poke holes in your pipe.
