What ever. You can try to act smart and degrade me. I dont care. Like I said, I did not not know the exact numbers. I never clamed to know the facts. I just said what I thought I knew. Of course Online metals numbers were higher. Like I said, that stuff is strong. I don't know what your problem is w...

I think that a sch 80 T-6 aluminum alloy pipe can hold up to 100-200 psi at least .. T6 is a designation given to aluminum that has been artificially age hardened, it has nothing to do with the alloy composition (Well, it does, as only certain alloys can reach a grade of T6). The aluminum pipe is s...

The aluminum pipe is sch 80 and has a tencel streangth of like 10,000 psi or something like that. Im not sure you would have to check out the spects. I have mentioned the site before and was blamed for working for the place. I DO NOT. Any ways.... Tensile strength is the strength of the mate...

Yeah.. ball valves are ok for the first timers, but a sprinkler valve is just that one step up. Even if you are a first timer, you would be better off using a sprinkler valve by far!!

I have used polyurithane roofing sealent to seal threads on a 2" pipe. It Works ,I have never had a leak. Im sure it can stand some kind of heat because roofs get kinda hot in the summer. It also stays flexiable, and sticks to almost anything.

If I were in your shoes I would forego the complex heating device and think more practical. Rethink the whole thing.. Think metal. Steel is heavy .copper is expencive. How about aluminiun. Theres a site where you can buy sch 80 aluminum pipe or tube. Its ONLINEMETALS.com, and no I do not work for th...

Just use epoxy. I think modern technolohy has made it possiable . I would think that epoxy would be just as strong, maybe even stronger. You just have to make sure the surface is ready to accepct the epoxy. Like clean and free of oil and dirt. You could even scuff up the surface so the epoxy could s...

Something that heavy I would use as a staionary cannon or mortor. Rig up a base of some kind. Maybe put it on wheeles. If its going to be that heavy, I would just go bigger and mount a base on it or with wheeles.

If you want paint that will stick really good ,use truck bed liner spray paint. That stuff is great. I used a little on my cannon and I think its cool. It has a texture for a sure grip and it is scuff resistent and chip resistent. I used black on mine but I think you can get it in other colors. You ...
