rcman: I think that you misunderstood my crappy paragraph.. All that would need to be done is a cannister of propane at the end of the grip, when the grip is pumped forward, it hits the top of the propane cannister and squirts a small dose of propane into the chamber. Simple as.. That is how the Ti...

APV-100
So this is the pump action combustion I have been working on. It is not really a pump action because it does not use a pump to reload a projectile. It uses an air pump for a soccer ball to pump in fresh air and move CO2 out of the chamber. This is a lot more efficient because no caps or valves need ...

I am not too enthusiastic about a pressurized system. It seems too complex and too much to deal with. So we should look into the carbureted system for now and also think of other ways. I am going to get markfh11q in this too since he lives nearby my house. I have my air pump ventilation system insta...

Too much money for me. I prefer something more compact. This does give me the idea for an artillery cannon with pre-loaded propane shells(chambers). Just shoot one chamber, disconnect it from the barrel, then connect another chamber. Not very efficient but my family and neighbors would marvel at it....

I like the concept and I think it may be possible to use with other fuels, with a few modifications. I experimented with gasoline as a fuel once and I haven't found it very effective. It is not very powerful and is not clean burning. It doesn't seem like this design would work well without some kind...

I like that guy's firestorm design, but it has many flaws and I don't think it would work as shown. I did notice that he used the air piston concept to vent so now i realize how many other people have thought it up. I also like the 3 way solenoid(or how ever you spell it) that the guy on advanced sp...

Pump-action combustion
First of all, I haven't been on the forum in a long time. so about a year ago I started my own little thing called the Omega Project. This was just a challenge to build a semi-automatic if not automatic combustion spudgun. Of course all of my ideas dead-ended with finding a way to vent CO2. Then I g...
