Back when spudtech still existed somebody took a flaregun and modded it to use shot shell primers and .177 BBs, would punch a BB through almost anything.

A 1lb propane can works OK for running BBMGs on warm days, if you run it indoors I would recommend you put a pilot light on the barrel.

QEV gives semi auto actuation, piston or paddle closes of breach, long long ago back when spudtech was still around there was something like this on there, but chambered for golfballs or marbles(cant remember).

It doesnt seem to matter much, its getting the hole between the trigger and chamber the proper size, too much flow and it wont shoot a string, too little and it cant reach good velocity.

What your building is called a stacked tube blowback, most low/midend paint ball guns work this way. You can expect a very high cycle rate, I once tested a cheap spyder paintgun and clocked it in the mid 40s.
