I tried this the other week mate, turned out shit mostly but if ya did it right it would be ace. it turned out crap for me cauz i forgot to lube the mold for it. what also will play a part is what type of sikaflex ya use because they have a lot of different types, but yer ur smart enough to get one ...

just for re-assurement, on my last gun tripple s i believe it was, i was playing around with it in the shed as ya do, just tuning it a bit just had a dimm though what it would be like with a smaller chamber... it was a bad idea nothing fit togeter, i ended up going mental on it with a turbo disc on ...

ok... this topic really took off, wasn't trying to burn you man soz, just pointing out that everything can be different when it comes to piston valves. my point was having a big pilot valve, is not aways better, and that yer as you said EQ holes are not always needed but in some cases they are, like...

Make sure you get a big pilot valve not just a blow gun.

@ JSR, how would one go about removing the spring from a air rifle similar to the one in the pic in this thread?

i think that would be because the camera is trying to focus on the background, try to take a picture with the sinker on a table or something with a less complex texture.
