He can probably get like a good mile out of that thing at around 7000 fps. Who cares about the range of a q tip gun?

Thanks I was thinking about making a large bore pneumatic using this type of valve. I love kickback =)

Hey Clide would you say that this type of valve is more powerful than a regular tee piston valve? I really want to make one but don't know how exactly I would build a ram...

Are you going to pull on the barrel piston to open it? If so then its going to be hard making it not leak. And if you are going to go through the trouble of not making leak why not make a triggered burst disk??

Looks pretty good so far. Seems like it could take realy high pressure ;)
If it was me though I would have a bigger barrel.

How long did it take to melt? Could this be used in one of your burst disk cartridges?

Thats a nice looking gun. Its so clean and ergonomic. It just looks so pretty. If its not a secret how much did all of it cost and where did you get that blowgun?

You know if you take any type of engine and feed propane through air intake it will work? You will have to tweak with it a little bit but it will work. Look it up. There are cars all around the world that run on propane because it lets you go farther and its cheaper. Make google your buddy.

Yea I had a similar idea only it was to eliminate the need to measure the fuel and air pressure bla bla bla I got discouraged. I think this is a lot better idea though but I think it would only work having a long thin chamber and having a small caliber barrel.

As far as I know they can already handle those pressures. I think Ive seen a blowgun or two taken past 200 psi. I think since its such a small piston area it can already take high pressures as it is. And even if it fail nothing is going to happen except the piston going out.

Exactly but this way you wont have to pressurize the chamber. Custom made cartridges can be created to fit the revolver (as long as they are tight fit with the o-ring etc).

I know I know I tried looking and all I came up with was the electro labs. As far as I understand a bank of capacitors is discharged through a wire or a spark gap thus rapidly vaporizing what ever liquid is in there.
