Yes, that was adhesive copper tape. You can see the roll on the right part of my photo.

So if I were to only use a set of electrodes in the center and not spark strip at all, would it really hurt the performance?

So I know about nothing about making spark strips and wasn't going to even use one until I read about them severally increasing performance. I put together this crud test to see if my 12KV grill zapper would jump 4 gaps good. It did. It has 4 gaps that are around 1/8". I tried to make some black lin...

Thanks for the help guys, I'll leave the thread along now.

Well, now I'm kinda wondering what its like when it ruptures. I'm a hobbyist pyrotechnition so I am on the safe side of things when ever possible. I think I will just chop off the barrel, take the chamber add 100g or so of black powder, cap it and over pressure it just to see how it comes out. I'll ...

OK, thats good to know. I just recently examined my old gun that had a 3" chamber to 2" barrel. It is also made of the same material. I thought I had that piece cut from a long section of PVC, but it was some time ago. It has held up fine to just aerosol shots. Would this new gun be ok using just ae...

This is a double post but I thought it would fit into this thread also. Just trying to catch crowds in different areas. "I have a similar gun that I made with a 4" combustion chamber that is 2 foot long. It reduces down to a 2" barrel. I want to fuel it with propane and I'm looking into a meter and ...

I have a similar gun that I made with a 4" combustion chamber that is 2 foot long. It reduces down to a 2" barrel. I want to fuel it with propane and I'm looking into a meter and hook up and everything but one thing is riding my mind. I bought a pre-cut section of pipe for the chamber, and it happen...

Would a plastic fan inside a combustion chamber not get roasted by fire and end up being damaged over a short time?
