In the world of spuds today: i just bought the pvc to make my piston valve LAW cannon design was a little tricky, was going for an air efficient, portable, breech loading, shoulder mounted, battery less, single tube cannon for shooting nerf footballs (and anything else 2" in diameter :P ). i think i...

definitely go with the ball valve, the higher flow will give you much better performance. if you are stuck on the idea of the schrader trigger, you can plug it into GGDT and see what kind of performance you can expect.

wow, that is quite an endeavor

i say go for it, there is no reason why it can't be done, sure it will be a little pricy, but when its completed i have no doubt you will be happy you made it.

just be careful where you shoot it!

if you are using a paintball gun and attaching a tennis ball barrel, i would not expect great results. the volume of air in a tennis ball barrel is MUCH larger than a paintball gun barrel and a tennis ball weights significantly more than a paintball you could try it, but i doubt it would work very w...

NO! NO! NO!

co2 tanks are NOT designed to handle high pressure air
do not put high pressure air in a co2 tank

if you dont want to put the money into a safe set up, dont bother at at all

you can get cheap aluminum HPA tanks for about $60, if you want a portable set up, that is what i would recommend

how a standard barrel sealing piston valve works is by first pressurizing behind the piston to seal up the barrel, so air doesnt leak down, if you attempt to pressurize the other side first, the piston would not seal and air would just leak down the barrel so no you can't pressurize a standard barre...
