I agree with Noname, I find diaphragm guns much easier to build than piston valve guns. Ive tried a few different approaches to the piston valve idea and had all of them fail. As for my diaphragm, its made of that thin (1/8") flexible PVC crap that is used for lining showers or something like that, ...

I will be painting the gun soon after I put an end cap on the bottom of the pistol grip to cover the sharp edges where I cut the pipe for the blowgun nozzle. Also the diaphragm is a disk I cut from some thin PVC sheet, glued to the back of the PVC pipe that makes up the air chamber. The end cap hold...

Diaphragm Valve Pistol
This is my new diaphragm valve pistol, made from some misc PVC I had in my box of fittings. I wanted to do a pistol using this valve setup to go on my website but I didnt have the parts that I needed to make it the way I wanted to so I just threw together this particular gun just to have one done, i...

The ball valve opens most of the way, but with the air pressure in the chamber and the light weight of the blow dart, even most of the way is enough to move enough CFM of air to shoot the dart pretty fast. As for the fellow with the grenade lancher, it would be cool if you made up some templates of ...

This one was actually the first of the blow dart guns I made, I made the bigger one later so I can have something that was more like a regular carbine rifle. I do plan on making an even bigger one with a scope mount on it and some type of breech loading mechanism, plus a more compact pistol variant ...

Damage Pics
Ill have to think of something to photograph to show the potential of this gun. The most I can think of right now is my wife's plastic mickey mouse piggy bank that I turned into a pin cushion during some past tests. Other targets were unsuspecting helloy kitty and other feline stuffed animals (also ...

The Baby Blow Dart Carbine
This here is the baby blow dart carbine air rifle. This is the little brother of my regular blow dart carbine rifle, which is also posted on here. This was actually the first of my series of blow dart PVC air guns. This one is made of PVC with the exception of the aluminum blowgun and metal reducer ...

Macgyver's blow dart rifle
This here is my blow dart air rifle, just recently built. This thing shoots standard .40 cal blow darts from a 1/2" OD alum tube. The gun assembly is made from PVC, with the exception of the alum tube, and the metal reducer used to adapt the alum tube to the PVC ball valve. And that brings me to the...
