I think it is an appropriate time to thank everybody for what they have said in this topic. It was received far better than I could have hoped, and you have all made me feel very good about writing it. Your posts have definitively proven that this hobby is not about pipes and potatoes. It is about p...

Wiki Renovation, 2.0
This will be the new topic for keeping track of wiki renovations. I want to start off by thanking everybody who has been editing the wiki over the last few days. While I have been terribly busy and unable to do so myself, I have noticed that there is more activity there now than there has been in mo...

I would like to let everybody know that the 'rift' between Jimmy and myself is over. We have been talking back and forth over PM's, and I have just sent the final one of the conversation. I do suspect he will write back, since he seems like the type who has to get the last word in, but I doubt I wil...

Too much unconstructive talk going on about editing. The success of editing topics to be clear and understandable is best done with zero personal comments to other editors. Just edit it and stick your reason beside it. Alternative edits may then occur and with any luck the most logical one stays. D...

Turbo, I am not so sure you thought that through. People that build cars (the ones that haven't been replaced by robots that is) are taught practically nothing about the specifics of the materials they are using. Not even the people that design cars are bothered with it, the engineers that bring tho...

Jimmy- There are many guns that are designed knowing full well that they cannot achieve a perfect fuel/air mixture, or even one good enough to be ignited the first time, every time. Spray and Prays, cannons without chamber fans, launchers with low resolution meters, they are all prone to the occasio...

I am a very long winded person Jimmy. Maybe typing out a couple thousand words is a significant achievement for you, (though I very much doubt it) but it is rather commonplace for me. If we had stopped when I first proposed the idea I would have considered this conversation a short bout, not a flame...

I am not going to just stop posting on the matter. I have been trying to get us to both mutually agree that no more needs to be said, so that we can both go on. Just dropping the conversation mid way through would indeed stop it, but I am more looking to reach a conclusion. Your statement about "eve...

Clide, anyone can change it any time, as anybody can edit the wiki. I never asked anyone not to, and would not care if Jimmy decided to change it right now. Of course if it is changed to something that is not as well written, I will change it back, (or to something new, I just didn't particularly ca...

Yes, they come in one inch, and many other sizes. 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2", and 3" are the most common, though anything over 1" is rather expensive, and tricky to find.
