ok i put a block of milled wood between the barrel. and i can notice a little faster response. but i have a big question. i am going to replace the dwv fittings with some pressure rated ones and i wanted to know if there is any way to remove the fittings with keeping some pipe?

i'm pretty sure that the nsf-p is ok for pressure i think, and the fact that it says dmv on it means that it is also ok to use in drain waste and vent applications but the fact that it says nsf-p on it i believe means you're ok. and as far as reducing your pilot volume i'm not saying eliminate the ...

ok on the end of the elbow it has "Blah Blah... and i see a circle that says NSF and a P in it but then to the right of it it says dwv... so that means that i'm screwed right? EDIT: after checking every nook and crany, i have concluded that every piece on this cannon are NSF-PW except for the elbows...

i'm pritty happy with the outcome i'll probably will re-do the elbows after i have some real fun with it.

and the hose is off now to keep ppl at bay..

yes the elbows are pressure rated. and i can shorten the hose and i probably will just mount on the valve but i cant complain with the results. (sent a orange about 150 yards.)

hmm sounds like this will be an interesting cannon. do you have any pics of the pipe and/or fittings? how big are you planning to make this thing? oh and how much money are you willing to sink into it? (sounds like a lot. haha) answer these and we might be able to help you more :o oh and combustion...
