^^ Right. Basically, in order to start a team, you have to really know what you're doing. An more than just knowing, you have to be able to execute. And that can only be gained by experience. At least, that's if you want to have a successful team. If you just want a bunch of guys to go to the field ...

I have one question on this great design, what modifications, if any did he do to the rainbird APAS-100 valve. None. He initially had a pneumatic pilot, but he was having trouble because the valve was opening too quickly. I had similar issues with my Watermaster. He said he was going to attempt to ...

That's kinda why I use the JCS ones. When they do break, they're broken for good, but I find that they last a little longer and they have slightly better flight characteristics from what I've seen. They wouldn't work with your 1 1/2" barrel though. They'd tear right in half.

Nice pusher. You probably need it using that 1 1/2" barrel. I find that I don't actually need my push stick unless I get a rocket back that landed in mud or got roughed up by impact. You don't have a problem with the Nerf tails ripping off? I can only get maybe a dozen shots out of one before I've g...

Well, guess it does matter, what you say make sense to me, never thought of it that way. All the more reason to properly crown the muzzle. I wonder what effect chocking the muzzle would have… Well, I ported and chamfered the end of the barrel to see if I could get any noise reduction (which didn't ...

I love the breech loading system, its one of the simplest i have seen. I have just two questions about it. How well does it seal and how did you glue on the end cap? Did you just sand it out until it fit the barrel then prime and cement it on? Did you have to hose clamp it on in order for the solve...

Which brings up another good point.Proper carrying and loading of nerfs.Accuracy of a paintball LAW is only as good as the condition of the nerf. What is you fix for nerf carrying and loading, Corrupted? The breech loading makes it a lot easier. Also, the JCS rockets have a hole that goes from the ...

Nice cannon, Corrupted355, appreciate you posting the results of your research. You confirmed my theory that a longer barrel and slower acceleration, improves accuracy, thanks you saved me that money. While that is true for projectiles where trajectory is important, I don't know that it is for some...

i know you said you use it for paintballing but have you tried any other means of ammunition besides paintballs.. like maybe marbles, or gumballs?? I've got a giant red superball that's just slightly smaller than the 2" inside diameter. That thing really goes a long way. When fired straight up, the...

FYI: You will probably have trouble with that PVC chamber.I'm half surprised they let you into a MOUT game with it.I know things in the SC/NC/TN region have gotten increasingly hostile to PVC chambers. And not to mention they've also spoiled the fun of shooting full sized grenades."Scepter size or ...

Man, that'd be a great idea. Have a tiny little grenade launcher, maybe powered by a 12 gram cartridge and a piston valve. Maybe coaxial. It'd be perfect for those big scenario games where you need to really huck one a good distance. I'd have to buy a couple F-bombs to find out what size I should ma...

The first time I took it to a scenario game, it won me Most Valuable Demolition. So I'd have to say that it is indeed very good at making arseholes sore.

My first cannon

This is my first attempt at building any type of cannon. I decided that I wanted one after seeing what they could do at a paintball Scenario game. So one of my paintball teammates and I built two mechanically identical pneumatic cannons. Mine has seen three different iterations, but the final result...

I have this same valve on my 2" Nerf football cannon. We actually made two identical cannons, and so far we're on our 4th collective diaphragm. I don't know why, but if you crack the plastic surrounding the sealing face on the diaphragm, it will leak down the barrel. It's a slow leak, but a leak non...
