That stock sets it off. Love it! It's a shame the hose and blowgun arent incorperated into it better. It would have been easy enough to route the blowgun trough the stock itself to make it look more streamlined. Plus JSR would have been impressed by the smaller pilot volume  . If that stock wa...

I know I had a point when I started this thread, but I had been drinking quite a bit when I started it and so I forgot what that point was. I think it had to do with all these advancements in things like semi auto and high end hybrids and the like. I was getting the feeling that the basics are being...

The price of competition...

I am not taking sides here. I am just opening a thread for discussion. Do you guys think that these competitions and the constant striving forward of spudding technology is hurting the hobby? When I first started it was all about shooting a chunk of potato across my parents property. Now People scof...

May this be a contest entry JSR? If so it's nice to know I only need to compete with an 850 psi, 100 rps borderline supersonic cannon.
Dude... It is ON!

No need to be mean to the kid, he was like 11 years old or something. I am sure he had just as much fun with his creations as I do with mine.

As with your past efforts, this is a very sexy effort. Your breach load is one of the nicest I have seen. I dont think pilot volume makes too much of a difference as long as it not excessive and the piston is a good fit. Look at the QEV. I have had my QEV accidentally cannon fire from disconnecting ...

In the question you are asking in the original post, I dont see it making a difference either way.

Do what ever makes more sense as far as money and availability of parts.

I generally like to stick with ammo that has more of a punch. Sure it gives you more recoil, but the devastation is priceless. I dont see too much devistation with a heavy ammo combined with this large bore of a barrel and small of a valve. I garentee this shoots empty cans pretty quick though. At ...

I guess it is hard to suggest recondition it when they are 30 bucks new at walmart. I know the barrel would be usefull in a future project, I have gutted a few broken bb guns for the barrel. Still, I hate to see a classic die when it still works.
