Nope, dont have to purge the combustion gases, all you do is open the valve then turn the torch on, the torch blows all the exhaust gases out and replaces it with a fuel/air mix.

Heh, this website was the original inspiration to make the full-auto BB guns, the strafer, me and a few other spudtech members did an assload of testing on how they worked, and eventually Spudsonfire came out with the vortex.

Great guns though on PPP, some of those things are just fantastic.

Go buy a POS 10-pump BB gun, the ones with the solid .4" OD steel barrels, and tear the barrel out of it. They are perfect for DIY BB guns, and are very accurate.

Sch80 PVC is lighter, very strong, and cheaper than steel pipe. Last time I checked most people dont have a full set of pipe threading dies, so Sch80 is a very good option. Sch80 hasnt let me down yet...

just add nitrous oxide,a oxidizer,and up the speeds even further I'm not positive how long you have been on these forums, but adding a seperate oxidizing agent apart from normal atmospheric Oxygen is a big no-no in the spudding world, unless you have a steel chamber of sufficient strength to handle...
