Hybrid PVC GB barrel question

Hey guys. I've been working on my hybrid and really want a golfball barrel. I was wondering if a PVC golfball barrel, 1.5" sdr 21 (rated to 200psi according to spudtech), sleeved in 2" sch 80 (rated to 400psi according to spudtech) would be safe to use in a hybrid, even at a 2x mix. (the launcher wi...

Wow :x Just more proof of how un-just the justice system is. I am only 14 and I have seen this happen way too many times. Cops and the media always like to throw things out of proportion. For them, negative images is the main criteria. Good luck on your trial and all. Hope it goes well :)

I'm fairly sure that using co2 in pvc only makes it brittle if it is put in too fast or the liquid is sprayed in. I kind of turned away from the co2 idea because of cost issues. I mounted a small pump to the bottom and it doesn't take very long to pump it up while away from any air compressor. I ran...

Thanks for the comment's. I just noticed both of them. Since the original post i have added a hand pump to the bottom and a quick connect. Also a golfball barrel. I will soon paint it. When i get it completely done i'll make a new post, as this page would have too many pictures

That is really how i think i'll do it velocity3x. My uncle has a machine shop, my grandpa has a lathe, and me and my dad have things like a drill press and other normal tools.

That is great!!! Thanks so much. Do you know the approx. volume of these tanks? Also what kind of paintball adapter were you suggesting?

Edit: I'm a super slow typer. I didn't see tech's post.

How big is the valve connection on the top?

Could it be cut off and rethreaded?

I have to say you never stop to impress me. I really like the website. The cobra striker has a suprising low price. It's much more money than i have but i would buy one. I have to say your cannons are amasing.

I'm thinking for number 1 it could incorperate a stock that is held on both shoulders. It could be made out of pipe and could have a built in recoil reduction system. It would also be cool if we made the piston valve a blow forward bolt.

Hybrid questions.

A few questions on my new hybrid. I am currently building a hybrid with a chamber of two 8 inch pieces of 2 inch sch 40 galvanized steel pipe. The biggest barrel will be one inch copper. Can i use a regular spark plug for cars or is it not strong enough. With that chamber, will remote ignition be ne...

Sounds like a pretty good idea. :) I think it would work but i wouldn't want to go through all that just to get a little extra distance. :? But depending on the size of your rocket and how good your timing is you could get some serious distance. :D  :D  :D Good luck.
