Tools Thread

I mentioned making a thread like this a while back but never got around to it... So here it is! This is just so anyone can post their new/cool/interesting/favorite tools. Pictures are wanted but I don't think completely necessary. If you have them then please post. BTW I did ask PCGUY if this would ...

Oh yeah, I didn't really think of his... So mine probably won't explode, but would be unsafe at higher pressures though... I'm thinking of co2 but I don't think I'll go for high pressure if these fittings can't take it. Maybe use co2 and just go to 200 or so psi...

Pressure rating...

So... While designing a high(er) pressure piston cannon, similar to jeepkahn's decimator, I've been thinking about metal (black and galvanzed steel) pipe. I've only heard about their pressure rating to be 150 psi. BTW I'm talking about the kinds sold at lowes... What I'm wondering is, what pressure ...

Perhaps you could use Google to find some sta...

I know im a noob. but i dont think you could do it. If you did it would cost a lot of money and take a lot of effort. ... yet folks with a bit more experience have amply illustrated that it is indeed a feasible exercise, without excessive effort and financial outlay if the correct parameters are ob...

I think joerg normally just wraps them with string and ties it. On occasion his slingshots have clamps for bands... The tire tubes I used are so weak it's only really good to barely feel an airsoft bb... :? I would suggest getting a replacement slingshot band at walmart. If tire tube is your only op...

I would but it's not worth it... It's so weak (because of the bands) that there's really no point. I made two more and put a real band/tube on it...

Yeah, it's just a flint sparker with a motor... People have used flint sparkers on cannons, but only the kind you spin with your fingers. IIRC, SF sponsor, launch potatos sells them...
