Keep in mind that spudfiles is a 99.99% D.I.Y. community, so I absolutely agree with B.t.B. . If you got something new, extraordinary, beautiful, special or what ever in your mind, sooner or later you will build it and post it on this site anyway. So why not doing a contest for the fame and glory? I...

My suggestion would be polyurethane foam. Take a piece of pipe, the size of your barrel, lubricate or powder it inside and then spray the foam into it.

pro: very light and reusable

cons: need some time to cure

I know, but it does it's work very well this way and it never leaked before.
I don't pressurize it over 120psi (compressor) anyway but as soon as I go higher I will find another solution.

The angled piece is just random because I haven't had the fittings (without using some from my other project) to attach another tee.

I like it even more due to the different look and it balances very well.

I didn't make a plan to build this coax, just read a topic on the forum and had the idea. It was absolutely spontaneous. It sure looks like it can handle some pressure but i only did some test shots @120 psi. The barrel support is a pice of pipe 4 screws and 8 nuts but it turned out to work really w...

Coax fast build [updated]

This is a build on a topic reply. I build it in about 1 1/2 hours and it is my first coax ever. Total length: 99cm Chamber: 1", 40cm + 20cm galvanized steel Barrel: 15mm, 78cm long The piston is basically the one I described on this how to.... http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/self-closing-piston-valv...

After writing the comment on this post I ate something, drank a coffee and then I build a coax with spare parts laying around. All in about one hour  . Well I already had a piston and I didn't make a barrel support but it works like a charm. Not bad for a first try on a coax I think. Length: 99...

Consider to pressurize from the pilot volume (with a small chamber like in a pistol it wouldn't make any difference).

Coaxial are bad designs to go semi / auto so there wouldn't be an advantage either.

The problem with such an extensive database like Spudfiles is that you can't overlook what other members posted before.

French spudding community

Hi guys!
I've found this little french spudding community by accident.

This is a link to their hall of fame (pneumatic section).

http://patator.frbb.net/patator-a-air-comprime-f19/

There are not that many but some very well made launcher.
Thought that might be something of interest....

Did someone ever used a "whistle tip"? I've got the idea from archery. This is a tip that you can buy in a shop. http://www.bogensportshop-hermanski.de/mediac/400_0/media/spitze-heul.jpg Or build it: Take a cap nut and file it at one side till you get a hole with sharp edges. Attach the cap nut to a...

Attach some wings and you will have a hummingbird  .

Or you replace the bolt with a needle and tattoo yourself.
:headbang:

Otherwise great work.

Do you have the original end cap/release for this extinguisher?
I had the same problem but I discovered that the pipe inside of the FE (like in a spray can) was mounted with a standard 1/2" thread. I sawed off the release from the cap and screwed a 1/2" nipple into it from the top.

Veeery cool idea! That is definitely worth a try.
If I get it right from the diagram then you vent with a hammer hitting the bolt, the piston strikes back and reset the hammer to firing position again.
