This is my basic Kershaw.. http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/908/knife019smeq5.jpg I'm not the knife connissure that Radiation is but I do appreciate the need of having a decent blade by your side. I don't leave home without it. Ditto to everything he said, except mine is the slightly larger model...

Thanks for the feedback. Since you already found them it's hard to say how much the change helps, but I made them a little bigger and changed the color.

flipbooks for interactively viewing my recordings

Well if you really want to investigate what is happening in a video, then video form really isn't the best way to view it. So I have made these pages I call flipbooks that allow you to interactively view my high speed camera recordings. Just wait for the page to fully load (may take a little while o...

I believe the type of piston valve you are describing is commonly known around here as a "toolies" style piston valve. You should be able to search for "toolies" on the forum and come up with some good examples of this design being used. As for the opening time, a toolies style piston will be nearly...

No, none of these silo blaster cannon companies have a price list, its all quotes on request :? Doesn't even seem to be any chat of prices around either. They had some price lists up back in 2003 (remembered making a post about it and found it on the archives). I believe the retrofit kit is just th...

I would like to see if there is any deformation of a golfball as it comes out of a high powered GB shooter...is the smack of the air or combustion doing anything to it shape wise? Also, I know there has to be some deformation going on as it hits something really hard...plate steel or something....j...

I has high speed camera

Yep, I've got my very own high speed camera. It's a Kodak Ektapro 1012EM. It is old, bulky, low quality, and quickly becoming obsolete, but it still fun. I actually got this over a year ago and haven't done nearly as much as I would like to with it. I believe this was one of the first high speed cam...

Not many cheap commercial valves will be capable of that kind of blast. The only commercial valve I'm aware of that will be of a large enough port would be an "air cannon" which happens to be an industrial name for what we'd see as a pneumatic cannon without a barrel. Basically it's a piston valve ...

I've blasted a camera pretty good with projectile and target spray. For mine it just knocked the power off and didn't save the video file. I was able to go in and recover and fix the file so it would play, but the last few frames never got saved so the last frame available was just the projectile le...

My website

Some of you may have noticed that I have been using this URL for awhile for my pictures. I'm still working on adding content, but I figured I would go ahead and post what I have so far for my website and get some feedback. http://gbcannon.com Also I've changed ISPs so if anybody is looking through t...

That is a beast. Do you actually fire that thing while holding it?

Glad this idea is being developed! The only actual implementations I am aware of are mine, yours, and I think DYI made one as well. There were a few others posted. Here are a couple http://www.spudfiles.com/spudtech_archive/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=14697 http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/kap-r3-t137.html
