The time it took to discharge is due to the 1000 cubic inch chamber, and a valve with a 1/2" port.

The new valve has a 1.75" port and the tank is currently in the process of having a 2" nipple welded on as tech suggested.

I plan on running it up to 300-400 psi with my HPA paint ball tank. It remains to be seen however, how many shot I get out of one 3200psi paint ball tank.. (largest "regulation" size avalible) @tech The 1/2" porting valve in the video had impressive power, with a 6 foot 1/2" barrel, at 150psi. I can...

You will all be glad to know that the tank is at the welders, getting the 2" nipple welded on. I should have it back in a few days. Tech, I believe you are correct, but the way it is now should work ok. The air has plenty of room to flow into the nipple, I think most of the performance loss would be...

Yes, the barrel will most likely be 2.5'' for tennis balls, but of course they will be interchangeable with many pipe sizes. Just in case i want to put a 2'' SS barrel on it and destroy whole cities with 1000PSI. I'm only joking about the cities....

The valve seat/barrel port, is held in by epoxy (my new best friend) I poured the epoxy into the gap betwe...

Haha, in my typical style, a full auto vortex block bouncy ball gun?
That would be sick.

I think I'll stick with the 1.5" porting piston.

I just got a quote from my local welder, $30 to have a 2'' pipe nipple welded on. Not a bad deal.

Im goin to have it done on monday, So i shall start construction on the firing valve.

Should i build a metal piston valve? or a PVC one?

How did you secure the pipe nipple to the tank? Weld?
DO you think solder would hold a 2" nipple in place?

I always buy a 8"x8" sheet of "gasket rubber" from my local hardware store for a couple of bucks. Works for me. It's about 1/8" thick and red in color.

Crna, just plug the both into a power strip with a switch. That would work.
