I think confusion arises because PC fans are measured in LengthxWidth (sometimes depth too). A 3"x3" chamber fan will have a length from one corner to another of 4.24", thus not being suitable for a 3" dia. chamber.

The Pythagorean theorem, as learned in high school, will immediately tell you what fans are suitable for use in a 3" chamber, and which ones aren't.

Something tells me the combustion chamber and everything attached to it will become a puddle rather quickly. Not to mention the intense heat could cause your barrel to lose its shape, which in turn might cause it to jam...then something is going to go boom somewhere. Sounds cool(hot?) in theory, but...

Looks like a solid plan, I've just been wondering:

How does the chamber get vented/refilled with air after each shot?

And don't you think 1 shot every 4 seconds would kind of put you at a disadvantage on a paintball field where people are walking around with guns shooting 24 balls/second?

Man, I was wondering why there wasn't a thread about the new sponsor...turns out I just couldn't find it.

I don't want to say something I'll regret, so I'll just say:
Thank you for your assistance, Mr. Sponsor!

Another problemo with compressed air is that it cannot be liquified. Single gases such as CO2 or nitrogen are stored in a liquid state, so you'll get consistently high pressure out of a small vessel.

And your air compressor can get past 3000 PSI, let alone 300?

Wow, these sites look pretty legit too, thanks for the heads-up.

Also, be sure to check out our new sponsor, selling a fuel metering system for the low, low price of $179.99 :D

(In his defense, it looks like a pretty fancy one.)

Seems like a fancy approach to a basic idea. I'm not sure if it will increase power, may just make it louder.

That is totally awesome! Just one question, and I'm not sure if you've answered this already: Are the capacitors you're using specially designed for being rapidly discharged?

Vaccuuming out the chamber seems a bit excessive- HHO is pretty voltatile stuff, you shouldn't have any trouble getting it to react.

The armor looks like it would be good against slashing weapons. I guess she has agility to handle the rest.
