Seems cool to make grips or stock... Dunno if scam tho.
that looks literally like polymorph plastic, which you can get much cheaper and reliable on amazon.
I've used them before for making fake teeth/fangs for halloween costumes and cosplays.

Re: Self Contained Hydrogen Repeater

Wow Jack, I had no idea the military actually considered the use of gas guns! I wonder if one day someone on this forum will have their design inspire a new military asset  It is approximately 270 X, impressive and far from the possibilities. The "problem" is transferred to the hho generator, w...

Re: Self Contained Hydrogen Repeater

The problem I see in your diagram is that the air pump sucks directly from the HHO generator. It would be very complicated to calibrate the production of hho so that it does not produce vacuum when vacuuming the pressure pump. Thats a really good point, maybe if the piston begins in the closed posi...

Re: Self Contained Hydrogen Repeater

If you want to be taken seriously quit using the stupid name "HHO". There is no such thing. You are using 2H2 + O2. I completely agree, which is why my original post puts "HHO" in quotation marks. I believe a better term would be "stoichiometric Oxy-Hydrogen Gas" (SOG), but considering most of the ...

Re: Self Contained Hydrogen Repeater

The idea of having the fuel and the oxidant together, in quantity, mixed, and in the gaseous phase, is very dangerous, for example in the particular case of propane and air. Very true! Although HHO is still safer than storing an Oxy-Propane mix in volume, you can increase the safety by having a swi...

Self Contained Hydrogen Repeater

I've read all the '08 threads with the argument for and against Hydrogen as a combustion fuel, but recently there's been a lot of buzz on youtube for "HHO" generators and just today Peter Sripol released his next iteration of a fully contained HHO cannon. Very true! Which is why we made sure to notify the one who lives down the street (and is my friend's dad) that we'd be having fun that night

I feel bad about shooting edible ammunition too so I got these for free by asking them for the day old food they were going to throw out anyways!

Re: Odd but effective alternate ammo

This isn't so much effective in terms of functionality, but french fries, bread, and ketchup packets work great for effective fun!

Ketchup packets especially.

Re: Sprinkler valve help

I used this exact valve model on my sprinkler valve mortar, I flooded that entire square hole with epoxy to seal it and works very nicely.

Re: Making a rifled barrel without machine tools

I love this youtube channel, been a fan of it for a long time.
I wonder whether softer metals such as brass could be used to rifle a pvc barrel?

I've always wanted to re-purpose this method for rifling softer materials

Re: preloaded pneumatic cartridge

I'm stuck at college but when I get home for the winter I'm going to try to make one of your original ideas out of brass. I rendered a rough animation to help myself visualize the parts I need to turn. Do you think that an 80mm diameter cartridge could...

Re: DIY PVC piston?

Have you considered 3d printing an adapter to fit inside a section of PVC pipe so that you can use a regular drill to turn it?
Even more advanced would be to use bobwombles 3d printed 3 jaw Chuck to hold a coupler or section of pipe to be turned.

Re: Airgun design program FOR YOU! Coming soon

Maybe add the ability to specify rough dimensions of each component and stretch the image to fit the scale. That way homemade valves can easily be accounted for.
