McMaster-Carr item numbers 48855K16 and 6803K17 both fit the bill if you find a good way to connect two of them. You'll require a barrel support no matter what you use.

Figure getting 150K miles from a car. That's even a conservative estimate, as I'm discovering. My dad has put over 160,000 miles on a 2000 Toyota Avalon, the most significant repair it's needed yet is a replaced front strut, but beyond that regular maintenance and a lack of reckless driving have so...

Regulators ensure only that the pressure on one side is not allowed to rise too high through the regulator. They shut off flow when pressure on one side reaches a preset pressure. CO2 has one drawback against air, the SOS, but you're probably not concerned with that for this application. ...

You could just put it in a sugar or salt container for transport.... to the untrained viewer they are much the same.

I'm not suggesting that you try to illegally transport any sort of controlled or regulated substance.

The issue with the chimney right now is that there is not enough draw to get all the smoke to go up the chimney. It just goes backwards into the house, and fills the downstairs with smoke. Not pleasant. What are these mysterious windings? Are they just inductors that need to be in series with the AC...

Soot can exists as a suspension in a gas, with little bits of solid carbon. These can be filtered out, and removed. Therefore, one can in theory burn hydrocarbons in very heavy mixes and leave <b>most</b> of the carbon still sequestered as solid, not as greenhouse gases or pollutants.

The fireplace draws in from the room.... but that's moot if I need circuit elements :( I chopped them off and recycled them all.

Could this fan run on DC? Is that what the windings are for, rectifiers?

I am VERY interested in this topic. I read an article a while ago that mentioned a 45% fuel efficiency increase by using laser spark plugs to ignite heavy methaine:air mixes. You could also probably get away from greenhouse gases and leave the carbon as a solid... But that's a different topic.

What is a gable fan? I'm sure I could purchase and install one, but that costs money... and this could be free. Tech, it seems like you drew inductors, which leaves me horribly confused. Is it even possible to wire this up with just a switch and a capacitor, or do I need other elements from the orig...

AC Fan

I want to install an AC fan on top of my chimney to improve the draw so we can actually use it in winter. I figure this fan even on the high setting probably won't draw more power than the heat pump and associated fan, so we should save money! Only trouble is that it comes from the same device I got...

So as the pump is concerned, so long as the copper piping comes after the check valve, there will be no effect upon dead volume. There is some really thin copper piping you can get, probably 1mm, that would work well.

You'd just pump the gases into the long thin copper piping, using a pump like the one I built.

Wikipedia says the autoignition for the stoichiometric mix of hydrogen and oxygen is 570C or 1,065F. I think you'll be safe, but feel free to throw some numbers at it first. I also note that you appear to have been playing around with GasEq for an extended period of time before taking that screensho...

A style of arrow: I doubt that this was actually stable in flight, seeing how much it bent upon impact with the target. It looks like it was tumbling, but then suddenly stopped upon hitting the wood, but the back end kept rotating. EDIT: En anglais, on dit "lathe" pour la chose qu'on utilise pour u...
