The barrel will be similar to the one mentioned in the post above. I am Guess/Esimating the recoil will be severe That is something of an understatement. This will be an expensive undertaking by private individual standards, dare I ask "Whom is funding this project?" Considering D_Hall's shop has a...

Re: Update, not a double post, too many pics for an edit...
We need to try to put together a Southeast SpudJam... I think the toughest part is finding the shooting location. If we can come up with that, then it's just a matter of deciding on a date and inviting...maybe come up with some games and lots of damage opportunities. I'll check around some in my ar...

It inverted the order of my pics, sorry... Yeah the attachment facility built into Spudfiles is bad about that. Hosting your files at a place like Imageshack makes things a lot easier to deal with when posting. Use the "direct link" they provide. Not a bad coax effort...your sawn reducer, barrel st...

Whip a half inch ball valve on the two smaller co-axials and notice the difference in power over using the garden sprayer :) I can notice a big difference in small bore cannons, using a QEV for the main valve, with a blow gun and a 1/4" ball valve. Sometimes ergonomics gets the better of me, but mo...

What's your pilot volume like? Remember that a piston only needs to move back 1/4 of the barrel diameter for maximum flow, anything more is usually waste (assuming the piston doesn't bounce) - so if you're trying to maximise efficiency - advisable if you've got the sound barrier in your proverbial ...

I just overbuilt the pneumatic... It's now 114" barrel x 56" chamber...Couldn't Help myself Nice to see your speedy build went well :) When it warms up it will be interesting to see how it does at higher pressures. I trust the valve up to about 125 psi Definitely, 20 psi for a GB cannon is a bit of...

Yea, I'm pretty sure it's about the same amount of energy, and if not in his hands, then I do not know where it would be, in such a way as to "blow his thumb off" maybe in some freak scenario, but drano bombs and dry ice bombs are similar, since both burst at the point where a bottle fails... then ...
