I think there is a place for air/water rockets on the forum, after all it is still launching a projectile through the air using a compressed gas

Is that a DWV Tee?

Might want to do some flow tests before thinking of selling it. There are already several valves on the market with very good flow specs.

Small petrol engine driven workshop Compressor is an option.

Another option is a modified car airconditioning compressor mounted on the engine of you're car, as done on 4X4's for onboard air systems.

Wow, this cannon is going to be a monster  . Good idea with the cone on the piston, It dose increase flow substantially over a flat piston face. Well Done :D

There is not much to do to change the spread other than adjusting the length of the barrel which dose not have a huge effect on the spread anyway. As previously mentioned, a sabot made of paper is the best way to protect the balls. I have used toilet roll tubes with one end taped up, then packed wit...

Instead of putting a smaller barrel in, I'd use a sabot or wad. If it fits, grab some empty shotshells. More rounds per shot, and a larger surface area for the air to force against. That is actually a better idea. I make paper shotgun style shells for smaller ammo on my 25mm copper cannon. you can ...

Try again but have a lip on the valve end of the barrel reducer, it cant be forced out the barrel that way. If the reducer is a bush type that slides on the inside of the barrel, you can have a small locking screw going into the bush reducer through the barrel.
