I'd trust it, the burst pressures on these pipes are higher than you'd expect. I've taken 30x0,5 mm aluminium pipe up to 400 PSI, not advising you to do so however..

Would this stuff be benificial for hybrids to use as a chamber lining? I could see it reducing heat loss to the chamber walls, thus increasing chamber pressure. I'm not sure how well it would stand the pressure though..

HSS seems to be pretty good, given the results of the sharpened thread taps I sent you.. When I have a working hybrid again i'm going to do some testing with sharpened tungsten rods.

I found the 425 gram bottle. It has a 250 bar rating, so it should be good for some high mixes. I'm aiming for 20-25x. The bottle itself has some odd threads, couldn't find anything that matched.. I think i'll need to mod the original brass part.

For my last hybrid I was using 12 gram CO2 capsules as ammunition, now I have several boxes of expired 9, 12 and 20 oz CO2 cylinders to hand, hmmm... :D That doesn't go to well with your obsession for sectional density :roll: I just found a one liter Soda stream bottle, I want to turn that one into...
