Re: Short question topic
For the regulator itself. Doesn't really matter if the manufacturer rated it by the housing, the diaphragm or the paint color (kidding)...they engineered the thing and paid good money to get it tested and obtain approvals so that it was legal for industry to use it...would suggest you take it as the...

Re: Short question topic
Noise level does have a good bit to do with the volume and pressure remaining when the projectile leaves the barrel. Would suggest modeling in ggdt to match reservoir volume with the performance you're looking for. Longer barrel will help with velocity and reducing noise. Would suggest not building ...

Re: Short question topic
Hi everyone, just needed to ask a question regarding regulators. I've read the Ninja tanks have a built in reg which are set to 800psi. I have a feeling if i go and just screw that tank in, its going to fill my chamber to 800psi, is that right? If thats the case...do i simply need an on-board regul...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
Co2, low pressure pcp (2000psi) or regulated. Wouldn't use or suggest using a factory 22xx tube beyond that. Can't stress enough that valve needs to be properly secured. http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/topic69553.html Walter did a hydrotest on a 2240 tube a while back, first sign of failure was ass...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
Uses an oring to seal to the tube, so tube is pressurized and valve needs to be sealed and properly secured.

Did turn a .22 barrel for one of these. Despite the fellow wanting it at stock length, it was still fun to shoot. 8) Good use for a spare 2240 barrel.

Re: Palmer Cap-Chur "Red's Special" Tranquilizer Dart Gun
Barrels by themselves are not controlled items Jack, don't need a PAL to buy one. Importing from the US, you run into a bunch of grief with homeland security and export/end user permits that add up pretty damn fast. Have been buying pb barrels from a fellow, he is selling off stock for the widow of ...
