Sweet. Looks Like it would have been fun as heck to construct.

Re: God is not angry..
Well, if the end comes before I get this cannon built then i'm going to be pissed. You took the words right out of my mouth. Turns out there is a large asteroid headed into our solar system.... September 26th should be a day of nasty earthquakes for the entire earth. (Facts based on a single video,...

The key word is relatively . A L31 120mm HESH round has a muzzle velocity of 670 meters per second, that's almost 2200 feet per second. Some how i forgot that firearms shoot things so damned fast, good catch. I do know that the "flarp" i mentioned.... seemed to behave more like a non-Newtonian flui...

I am now using an LCD screen, but I think I'm going to switch back to CRT... I miss being able to slam my fist into the screen when I have technical difficulties.[/size] I laughed really hard at that..... errrhem! back on topic. I found that an adjustable pop off vented to slowly to bother with wou...

I approve of this cannon. it would look SICK painted flat green. Normally i'm not a fan of electrically actuated sprinkler valve... but i LOVE the trigger that you have. Just to point out... It looks like ALL the fitting are DWV. (except the front bushing.) I would advise on your next build, yo make...

I asked at my local fire depo, they told me they sent all the tanks they received to "company X" Company X, when asked if i could have a few, responded with "Do you have a big truck?" I can fit about 100 of them in the bed of my Chevy S-10 There is about 400-500 there that i can have. I'm really onl...

I tried this with a VERY VERY sticky pile of old "Flarp" a kids toy meant to resemble slime. This stuff had spoiled, and was too sticky to remove from my hands without solvent. After placing it into a sabot, and shooting it with a 1.9'' porting cannon at 100psi, it shattered, and came out the barrel...

fire extingusher tanks, have alot of em. selling.
As the title says, i picked up about 15 fire extinguisher tanks, and am just wondering if anyone wants to buy one, or a few. They are a variety of sizes, some of them are still in hydro. Hydro pressure tests range from 240psi to 750psi. Valves are not included, but some of the tanks have 3/4'' NPT I...

I recently took this design: http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/4638/2inter.gif and turned it into this: http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/6014/photoaug1743759pm.jpg This is just the fire control mec. The hammer is a cylinder, of steel, with a spring behind. It rides in a piece of copper tube, and ...

Also, my QEV allows pressure to build up when the pilot and barrel are swapped, but it wont fire that way. So if it fires, even just a little bit, i would think it is hooked up correct. The best way, would be to plug the barrel port , with a metal threaded plug, and then place in a bathtub, like eve...
