My brother told me about a dude he knew a while ago that powered his PVC gun with acetylene. First shot it blew up. He of didn't get hurt bad, a few minor cuts, which seems to usually be the case with combustion cannon failure. But the cannon was completely destroyed. So if you want to invest in an ...

First stick it in the freezer for an hour, then take a dowel rod close to the same inside diameter as the pipe and pound until it comes out.

I keep trying to find the angle on how this might possibly be a good idea and I just can't seem to find one. Anytime I go spudding the only thing I've ever left behind is potato. No target pieces, no bags, no fuel cans or caps, no litter of any kind. I'm not a big lib / environmentalist / Al Gore fa...

I tend to have a difficult time with stupid sounding people. She sounded stupid. I liked the gun though. Hairspray sucks. I was really hoping that gun was going to knock her to her ass. The fact that it didn't almost left me wishing for that 2 minutes of my life back. Almost.

No pics, bummer, I had a barrel blow up on one of my over / under PVC cannons. It was sched 80 2" PVC. Fired successfully many, many times. It failed around the union. I think the failure had more to do with the possibility of damaged pvc. I seem to remember that barrel falling off my work bench to ...

I was thinking Mr. C . . as far as noobs and the poasting rules go, perhaps it would be appropriate to send them a link to this thread in their confirmation email. Possibley even not allowing them to poast until the thread link has been visited. Just a thought.

I LOVE my spud gun loud. It's half of what makes it fun. I say the louder the better. I live in an unincorporated area where people fire shotguns at 6am sunday morning within an earshot. no one calls the cops because the sherrifs dept can't do anything. The louder the better.

Ya know, I can understand there's a bit of a cool factor to having a suppressor for your spudgun, but other than that, seriously . . .why? There HAS to be a significant reduction in power, and half of the fun of a spudgun is how freaking loud they are. I tape my barrels closed just so it's louder wh...
