So I guess i'm out then. there will be a rule that no production cannons or companies can enter, only personal entries. Because of that? Well so far, it is only a personal cannon. The only thing that makes it production is the fact that you have all your plans etc and can build one for somebody els...

My suggestion would be polyurethane foam. Take a piece of pipe, the size of your barrel, lubricate or powder it inside and then spray the foam into it. pro: very light and reusable cons: need some time to cure Hoooooooly crap. Thats brilliant. Make your own mold! Maybe I could even put the golf bal...

So I guess i'm out then. Well if so, that sucks being punished for making a great cannon. Isn't that everyone's goal? To reach as far as you possibly can, using every resource at your disposal to create something you never thought possible? I never thought I would build something like this. But if i...

I don't know how the competition should be organized, but I do know that a very expensive cannon could really easily lose to a $30.00 cannon. I think that a well thought out cannon with creativity put into it, perhaps with some unique features will stand out regardless of price and resources used. I...

Thats sweeeeet! Rattlesnake, perfect name for obvious reasons. It was cool to see it shooting also. I'm curious to see how this will continue to develop.

Sabot Ideas

I haven't tested these yet, but I bet they work at least better than just the paper towels I was using before as golf ball sabots. The golf ball you see is stuffed in a few cupcake cooking fabric thingies I found at walmart. There are the plain paper kind and then there are also aluminum foil ones. ...

If someone wants one I will get one made for them, yeah. Its not a production model thats for sure lol. As of now its the only one and I hate to admit it, but with the cost it will probably stay that way. I can take the offer out of the sig if that would get me qualified. Other than the sig offer, d...

Is it too late to enter my Venom? My new thing would be a 100% clean (no wires or clamps) design and all anodized aluminum. Thats kind of unique isn't it? Oh, it sort of covers two classes as well. The advanced combustion and the Hybrid. Also unique or no?

That's gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful. I'd love to see a video of it working, who cares how powerful it is! Ohhh...if it was metal you could hybridize the crap out of that thing.

Just a special thanks

This is just a special thank you to the members of Spudfiles who helped me design and optimize the Venom to be better than it would have been without your input. In particular I would like to thank Starman for taking the time to review and go over assembly drawings and offer constructive advice in m...

What range do you get with that monster? I'm not sure really. Golf balls go nuts right now due to crappy patches. Oh, but limes are completely insane with how far they go. They seem to go straight up up and away and they are just gone. They can usually withstand the 2X. After I get around to making...

Imagine multiple chambers, each holding their own pressurized gasses yet they get their fuel from a single inlet. Each chamber can have a high pressure check valve in the back, or something along those lines, that lets gas in but not out. After they are fueled, the connecting port is disconnected fr...

Throwing another 2000 bucks in it arent you? Oh no. Not a chance. This will be a very simple, easy to achieve design no matter what. I will do it so it is achievable financially lol. I will be asking for advice and recommendations along the way. Thats how I was able to make the Venom a nice gun, wi...
