Re: Spring powered Nerf blaster
Nice! My Ceda does around 130fps if I recall. Did you check the piston for lubrication? Sometimes they come totally DRY from the factory. Some lithium grease or silicon grease can help. Mine was actually lubricated but I added some extra.

I missed this thread. That's cool looking. Does it work pretty well?

Re: Victorian "Air Cane" brought back to life
Those numbers are looking pretty crazy! That's around adult-class pellet gun velocity, but you aren't shooting pellets. You're shooting .3 caliber lead balls, lol. Safe to say the air cane works well now.

Re: Unusual Ammo and Barrel Construction
You could make a combustion cannon and toast those bagels on their way out! Just kidding, that's probably a terrible idea. Honestly, I think the best option is to build something different. I'm thinking go watch the slingshot channel on youtube and get some rubber-powered ideas to launch the bagels....

Beautiful work. This thing is cool. The spacing issue between faces reminds me of the headspace of a rifle; it has to be just right. I like it.

Re: Adding Multiple Sparks In Combustion Chamber
I have been using PVC potato cannon for about 2 years and I decided I wanted to make it shoot further. I use a grill igniter/spark plug wired up to 2 screws inside the combustion chamber to ignite the hairspray. One way I knew would make it shoot further was to wire a certain way with more screws t...

Re: Mechanical detention valve for high mix hybrid
People have had success using a spark plug connected to a stun gun at 10x. I use a cheap stun gun and it's been reliable. I used one of those super cheap step up voltage thingies and it broke. It just stopped working. I think I even tried a second one if I remember right, and it broke too. Not sure ...

Re: Let's talk nerf blasters
Hmmm. You know, a PCP using nerf darts wouldn't even have to use that high of a pressure. ;) It would end up being REDONK overpowered and expensive to make. Only a fool would spend a lot of money making a device to launch foam darts. For some reason spending sinful amounts of money to launch food p...

Re: Breech System For historical Pak 36
Are you injecting fuel and air that's already been mixed? If so, that means you have to store the mixed gas in a separate container which is very risky. A static electric spark could cause the container to explode. It's better to add the fuel first and then add air separately. This way, the fuel sta...

Re: Regarding the Legality of Hybrid Spud Guns in the USA
I almost blew my head off one time. I never considered the risk of it and no one ever mentioned it, but one day I walked out to the firing line to shoot a pistol and forgot to put my ear muffs on. So, I put them on with a LOADED PISTOL in my hand. I basically pointed a loaded gun at my own head whil...

I'm pretty sure Larda holds the record for highest mix, at least the "public" record. 190X was totally insane.
