Pressure is a measurement of the force a gas exerts on a given area. It is most commonly measured in pounds per square inch (psi) bar, kg/cm2 or atmospheres. The latter three units are quite similiar and can often be used together without conversion.

Conversion factors (rounded to 3 decimal places):
1 bar = 14.504 psi = 1.02 kg/cm2 = 0.987 atm
1 psi = 0.069 bar = 0.07 kg/cm2 = 0.068 atm
1 kg/cm2 = 0.98 bar = 14.223 psi = 0.968 atm
1 atm = 1.013 bar = 14.696 psi = 1.033 kg/cm2
