YES I have looked around other stickyed topics and spread sheats ect. but cannot find the answer. My launcher is a combustion and I glued it up yesterday and went to try it for the first time today and nothing happened, the clicker works fine there is a 5mm arc. I am using flamable (I know this because I tested it and it says so on the bottle) dioderant. I've tryed small amounts and large amounts of dioderant but to no avail, It will just not combust!:) anyways I'm not new to spud cannons but this is my first full PVC one. the barrel is 1000mm x 62mm O/D and the chamber is as you see it 100mm round.

Do you have a chamber fan? Those really help with the likeliness of a successful combustion.

Try a 0.5 second burst of starter fluid.

Looking at your cannon, it would appear that the ignition source is located in the TOP of the chamber... And as most of us know, the flammable ingredients in most deodorants are heavier than air. (Ethanol/SD Alcohol, Propane, Isobutane, Dimethyl ether, etc.)

Next time you try iginting this thing;
1.)Try only a super-quick "pssht" of deodorant.
2.)Install your cap
3.)Invert the cannon's chamber so that the ignition source is now facing towards the ground.

It would also be much better if you had your electrodes in the middle of the Tee fitting:

- And decrease your spark gap to 3 mm.

It might be that there isnt enough air in the chamber to combust. Spray it and then gently blow in it.

If you still have no combustion, maybe try the lantern sparker. It worked for me:)
