I am making a coaxial piston gun and i was just wondering how far back the piston has to move for enough air to escape and for it to be as efficient as possible. The gun has a 2x42" chamber, and a .75x60" barrel

to get full flow out of a coaxial piston gun, the piston needs to move back 1/4 the diameter of the barrel, about .206" in your case.

please use the search in the future.

I'm moving this to "Newbie corner". It's a good question that hasn't been asked in a while, but it's been asked often enough to belong there.
