Just wondering, how long have you gotten a potato, fired from a combustion cannon, to hang in the air? Today I managed to get a potato fired out of my over/under cannon to hang for 17 seconds using starting fluid as fuel. I would like to know how this compares to the results of others.

Thanks.

I've had tennis balls and golfballs hang for about that long, but with 5-6 foot barrels...

Getting a potato to seal well, and getting the mixture right, it would seem as though a 15 second hang-time is about average for most launchers with a barrel 4 feet or longer.- Yours sounds about average, if not a little better than. ;)
