I just recently built a pair a pnumatic spud guns. the big one has duel chambers 4x11 in. in size and a 3 foot x 2in. barrel. Me and my brother were doing low pressure tests in my back yard with taped up paper towels (for saftey). Well we loaded up a slug of paper and charged to 30 psi. we thought it should land on the other side of the yard. WRONG. the thing went clear over the next house never to be seen again. so remember the more tank u have the less pressure u need.

yeah, it's a good idea to run it through GGDT first to see what kind of speeds you are dealing with... while the paper towel should have enough drag to slow down quickly, it doesn't always, especially if it's wadded up really tight.

ill second that remark

i used an unwadded dry rag in my grandpas garage (backstop ws the aluminium gate), and at around 50 PSI it put a nice dent in it...
