LOL I could just imagine someone setting down their spudgun to go get a drink or something and return to find the bomb squad blowing it up. [:0]:x

Did they expect an injury if it had exploded? If so they should change there technique for handling suspect bombs. Seriously these guys cant take chances. rofl They come back to find a smoking hole[:0]. wow mel what was that mix again? lots of power but slow burning.:?:

This got a good chuckle from me! Thanks for sharing it Clide. Thanks for the added humor, Chewy, about the guys who return to find a crater where ther egun had been!

I heard on the news that a kid here in NC was arrested last night when he we caught in possession of pipe bombs. Apparently he had made these things and had bragged slightly too mugh about it, so someone turned him in. Seems law enforcement agencies are not messing around and not taking any chances.

What cracks me up is they said the owner disguarded it after it malfunctioned. I bet his spark just wasn't powful enough to ignite a 10 second spray of starting fluid[:p] Or he ran out of aqua net. Oh, and they propably just said they're dangerous so they wouldn't sound like total idiots for not knowing what a potato gun looks like or is, then turning around and enlightening me as to how dangerous they are. Just my opinion:)

The devices are dangerous, he said:mrgreen::mrgreen:
But of course those fancy explosives they used to detonate it are perfectly safe...
He should of said "The devices can be dangerous if misused."
A fork can be dangerous if misused. A rope can be dangerous if misused. Alcohol is ALWAYS dangerous if misused. Just about everything on the face of the earth has the potential to be dangerous.
